Introducing your 2024 KSTC Board Members…

President

Erin Osterkamp is beginning her first year as President of Kenwood Swim and Tennis Club.  After taking a year off, Erin is rejoining the board having previously served in a Membership board member position. Erin and her husband Ryan have three children, are local business owners and have been members of KSTC for 6 years. Erin looks forward to a great summer and working with a great team to enhance all KSTC has to offer!  

Treasurer

Mason Rick, his wife Liz, and their three daughters (Nora, Greta, and Mila) joined KSTC in 2023.  Mason currently works at Fintech and has a background in non-profit finance and personal finance planning. Not only is he stepping up to join KSTC’s Board of Directors as the Treasurer, he is also currently the Treasurer for the Indian Hill PTO. He is excited to dive into (Dad pun!) the Club’s finances and modernize processes!

Secretary

Anne Lathrop is a Cincinnati native who lives in Hyde Park with her husband Ben and two kids, Violet and John. Professionally, she works as a School Psychologist for Cincinnati Public Schools.  Anne is beginning her third and final year as the Club’s Secretary.  She and her family love the relaxed family atmosphere at Kenwood Swim and Tennis Club!

Operations/Grounds (3)

John Hottle is a second year KSTC Board Member with a professional background in technology and innovation.  He moved from Chicago to Madeira with his wife Abby in 2016.  Together, they have two children Oscar (8) and Cal (2). They have been members of the club for 3 years.

Phil Smith is jumping into one of the Operations/ Grounds board member position for the first time as “a process improvement whiz on a mission to turn KSTC into a splas-tastic paradise!”  From tweaking procedures to making everything fun smoother than a perfectly executed cannonball, he’s all about brining fun to efficiency! He’s excited to dive into making the KSTC experience the coolest in town!

Rebecca Sowma has stepped up to joined the board of directors as part of the Operations/Grounds team!  She has been a resident of Kenwood for over 20 years and a member of KSTC for two years. Her professional background is in engineering and construction.  She lives with her husband, Steven, and two children Geneva (12), Adon (10) and two cats, Dino and Habibi

Membership

Nick Hellwig and his family have been members of KSTC for three years and this will be Nick’s second year on the board as Membership chair. Nick and his three kids spend most summer days at the pool. Once summer ends, Nick is still on the pool deck coaching Water Polo or teaching History at Sycamore Highschool. 

Communications

Emily Gates is an articulate diplomat currently working as a Senior Manager of Compliance and Ethics, leading compliance communication efforts for McKesson’s CoverMyMeds division. She is a lifelong Cincinnati resident and a third-year member of KSTC. As a mother of two young children, you may catch Emily wrestling her toddler while trying to relax poolside but she will always be ready to converse with you!

Sponsorship

Ali Deters is beginning her second year a board member at Kenwood Swim and Tennis Club. Ali and her family moved to the Kenwood area in fall of 2020. She and her husband Joe have two kids – Jack and Lucy. Ali loves being a part of the KSTC community and their children have loved summers at the pool, which is also a memorable part of Ali’s childhood! Ali works as a Senior Advancement Officer, fundraising for Make-a-Wish Foundation. She will serve on KSTC board seeking new Sponsorships.  Ali sees KSTC as a place that can continue to grow and thrive. She looks forward to another amazing summer in 2024!”

Social (Co-Chairs)

Jessica Hall is a mom of two daughters Adelyn (4) and Barbara (3).  Jessica and her husband grew up together in Indian Hill and have known each other since they were 6. She is a Senior Account Manager for a chemical distributor. Jessica and her family have been members of KSTC since summer of 2020. You’ll find them hanging out in the shallow end of the pool watching the girls and relaxing.

Julia Holton is a mom of two daughters Emmi (6) and Louisa (4). She is a Senior Research Associate at UC with a background in school psychology. Her family moved to the neighborhood in summer 2022 and immediately fell in love with KSTC. I’m looking forward to helping make our pool a fun and inviting place for families to enjoy all summer!
