2020 Kenwood Tennis players and parents
I know the world seems to have turned upside down in the last 2 months but I hope June starts to bring some sense of normalcy back into our lives. Kenwood will be offering tennis this summer. We hope getting back to something you know helps make these challenging times a little better. We are partnering with Camargo Racquet Club to provide excellent tennis programming. Brian Siler, their head pro, will direct the program. Their staff pros will run junior program, adult team, and adult clinics. All players must bring their own rackets and water.
The junior clinics are week long session and will not have daily signups. This will allow us to keep numbers to 1:4 pro to junior ratio. All tennis clinics will be played at the Kenwood Swim & Tennis Club.
Any questions (including weather cancellations) can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 513-260-1446.
Start date for juniors is Monday, June 15th. At Kenwood.
Start date for adult team practice is Wednesday, June 17th. At Kenwood.
Start date for adult clinic is Tuesday, June 16th. At Kenwood.

Additional Thoughts — Everyone has different life circumstances and different beliefs. We recognize that summer swimming will not be a fit for everyone this summer and we totally understand. The team and club have the guidelines and will work to implement and enforce these as best we can… but kids are kids. We expect there will be many times this summer where our children will not be perfect in maintaining 6 feet separation, despite multiple reminders from the coaches, parents and other athletes. We hope all parents who choose to participate recognize this inevitability and recognize everyone is doing their best.
Returning This Year … Ladies’ Tennis!!!
My name is Kerry Foley. I was asked to help with the Ladies’ Tennis team this year. We are
looking forward to a great season. If you are interested, here is some exciting information for this year’s tennis season.
Members of the Kenwood tennis team pay a one-time fee of only $20 and $15 for each practice. All practices (starting 6/10/20) will be held at Camargo Racquet Club on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. with a tennis pro. This will guarantee our practices will not be cancelled due to weather. You do not need to be a member at Camargo Racquet Club to participate. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or on my cell at (708) 945-5452 if you would like to join our team or have any questions. Your participation in every practice and match is not required to join our team.
I’m sure you are just as excited as I am for the pool to open for the summer. Joining our team is a great way to help our swim club and get exercise at the same time. This tennis season is going to be a great one! I look forward to hearing from you!
(please note, only ladies tennis will be played at Camargo, all others will be at the Kenwood Swim & Tennis Club!)
